ALL TYPES OF OFFENSIVE EQUIPMENT

Incorporating spaceship designs into weapon classification

For ease of use, all weapons can be interchangeable rather easily between various types of spaceships. When you buy a weapon it comes with both a grip and a stock (if appropriate) attachment. So that if desirable the weapon can be used with a humanoid spaceship. Otherwise the grip and stock can be kept in storage. The part will also come with a mount in case of a spaceship that requires such.

Weapon Categories

Melee

• Obvious classical weaponry enlarged (swords, truncheons, hammers, scythes, etc.)
  • Energy versions of classical weaponry
• Physical or Energy Shields will be listed here instead of in add-ons (physical and energy)

  Guns

• Short Range Projectile (Pistols)
• Medium Range Projectile (Shotguns)
• Long Range Projectile (Rifles)

  Cannons

• Cannons will require:
  • special power requirements via direct connection by cable (if handheld) or perhaps special add-ons cables (for other internal spaceships)
  • special cooling requirements if firing is too rapid (via a safety lock)
  • all cannons are long range and therefore are slightly inaccurate (perhaps targeting add-ons could help this?)
• Rockets

  • Exotic/Advanced Weapons

• Elemental Weapons
  • Napalm/Incendiary (small amount of damage but has a cumulative effect)
  • Antifreeze/Coolant (can cause thermal shock)
• Electrical Weapons
  • may include some Energy Weapons
  • do not have projectiles (do not confuse with raildrivers or particle accelerators[which are a type of gun])
  • can contain some wires with hooks similar to modern day tazers
• Plasma Weapons
  • medium range (maybe elite units which are pistol sized being short range)
  • only moderate increase in power and cooling necessity compared to normal weapons

Hilariously "humanoid spaceships" comes from find and replacing mech -> spaceship
