As a data consumer, I would like to better understand the issue encountered when a service crosses midnight.

Describe the solution you'd like

There is some explanation of this issue within the README but it would be helpful to have a more detailed explanation, including an example of a dataset where this problem arises.

It would be useful to understand the consequences of this issue and for any possible workarounds to be detailed within the documentation.
