UX TLC - Global CTA interaction pattern wrangling (Buttons, links, etc) #2684

Epic

The VA mobile app uses a variety of interaction patterns for CTAs like buttons, links, and drawers. For this work, we want to define & standardize the patterns globally, then update screens that don't comply with the global pattern. ## User Story? - As a user of the VA mobile app (and other apps), I want to focus my effort on what I'm trying to do in an app feature rather than figuring out how elements in the app work so that I can quickly do what I came to do. - As a designer or ENG working on the VA mobile app, I want a holistic, set number of interaction patterns for various situations that I can use (along with clear descriptions on when to use them) when designing/building the app, so that I can quickly choose the best pattern for a situation and focus my effort on more complex problems. ## Discovery Task (feature discovery) An audit done was conducted for [ticket #2659](https://app.zenhub.com/workspaces/va-mobile-ux-60fed87c42104e0017e04ef9/issues/department-of-veterans-affairs/va-mobile-app/2659), but that [audit spreadsheet](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/14cw_2K-uLrUL-m4ATHsBEjC4tOsDNklWOlN2DdsbJDQ/edit#gid=1283894560) document is outdated as of April 2023. Tasks: - Conduct audit of all CTAs & make recommendations - Update Documentation (design library & doc site) - Deliver list of interactions to change (with recommendation) to PM for ENG ticket creation (Progress & ACs to be tracked in individual tickets) ## Notes & Open Questions

@drjecker is this ticket still valid? Old ticket. If so comment indicating to keep it and update the epic to UX Initiative for UX to track.

Yes, this ticket is still valid. cc @drjecker

@bischoffa @kellylein can we get a tech lead assigned to this epic? I assigned @dumathane for a default, but we should route this to someone else so he isn't taking them all

@timwright12 I am not sure what this epic is and did not find it on the Q3 SoS list so I am not aware of what this work is or timing of it. @drjecker  managing UX Tech debt so I have included her. Looks like UX tech debt work but its not in that epic.

My understanding is that Engineering determines who is being assigned work/epics and reassigned if need be so assign as you would like.

I assigned it to Jon for now
