Description

Conduct User Acceptance Testing for the personalized home screen after completion of QA and before User Research kickoff. Refer to Standard Work - Mobile App UAT 020123 for best practices & examples.

Tasks

• [x] Recruit Veteran "friendlies" to participate
  • [x] Post recruiting message in Slack, reach out to other contacts directly
  • [x] Schedule 30min interview sessions
  • [x] Get notetaker for sessions
• [x] Conduct 3-5 interviews with Veteran "friendlies"
• [x] Analyze findings (2024 - VA Mobile App Home Screen - UAT - Analysis)
  • [x] Determine if it was an overall pass / fail

UAT interviews are complete as of Fri 5/10:

• 95% of tasks passed (only one participant for one task didn't pass, and it's due to a data issue (not the app)).
• We caught a few little readability/contrast things
• Average loadtime was 2.7 seconds — we didn't see any terrible load times (1-4 seconds, on a mix of wifi & cellular—but no "one bar" situations).

We feel confident moving forward to usability testing with the build as-is, and kickoff w Perigean is next week.
