Currently (8/22) facility hours are sourced from VAST. VAST can not support any variation from a standard model of Mon - Sun, open time to close time. There is no support for timings like:
Open every other Tuesday
Open til 9 pm the first Wed of the month
Open 2nd Sat of the month from 9 til 1
Additionally, many VAMC facilities have emergency rooms which are open 24 hours, but that doesn't provide the necessary information to Veterans who want to plan a visit for non-emergency needs.
User Story or Problem Statement
As a Veteran, family member, or caretaker I want to be provided accurate and timely information about the hours of operation of a VAMC facility (and Vet Center?)
Affected users and stakeholders
CMS Editors of VAMC pages
Veterans planning a visit to a VAMC facility
Hypothesis
A hypothesis may depend on a spike ticket to be completed.
We believe that _thissolution will achieve _thisoutcome. We'll know that to be true when this measurable outcome occurs.
Assumptions
How do we add to our data model?
This would not be made directly available to editors; it would require some request fulfilled only by admins
(How will these assumptions be validated?)
Acceptance Criteria
[ ] Testable_Outcome_X
[ ] Testable_Outcome_Y
[ ] Testable_Outcome_Z
[ ] Requires KB article update
Change management triage
The change represented by this user story will:
[ ] Be a site-wide change to appearance or key functionality (such as log-in process)
[ ] Be a specific change that requires more than 30 minutes of work by a user to meet a publishing requirement
[ ] Remove a piece of functionality (such as restricting editing functions, or “hardening”)
[ ] Require action by some or all users by a specific deadline
[ ] Change the front end and be highly visible to the public
