Need to edit & revise outdated/incorrect "How to edit a VAMC 'Top Task' detail page" KB article #12114

Open stefaniefgray opened 1 year ago

stefaniefgray commented 1 year ago

Background context

Problem: 30% of VAMC editors have still not completed the May 2022 assignment to transfer information from the previously used Detail Page Top Task Pages to the new custom content type Top Task Pages.

The 3 Top Task Pages each section must complete are Billing and Insurance, Medical Records, and Register for Care.

Per VHA Digital Media and various helpdesk tickets, editors are having trouble understanding:

  1. How the old pages using the Detail Page content type are being retired, and how the new Big 3 pages are NOT Detail Pages
  2. System vs. Facility Top Task Pages
  3. How the facility pages plug into the system-level ones

This existing and currently published KB article is wrong and outdated and may be one of the reasons why Editors keep editing their deprecated Detail Pages instead of finding and editing the new Top Task Page content type nodes.

cc: @TroyA6 and @laflannery in case you hear about Top Task Page training while I'm out of office (Was supposed to have given a 1-on-1 Top Task Page training today to Blake Scates but his family is under the weather)
