As MHV moves into VA.gov, Veterans managing their healthcare online will have a seamless experience when they navigate from their VA Medical center pages to complete top tasks.

Who is the primary user? Veterans and beneficiaries What are the user goals for the project/page/product? Veterans have an intuitive way to access Health Chat from contextually relevant points in their digital health journey.

This is an overarching CTO initiative, parts of this ongoing work has to get to done in 2023

First feature is secure messaging, on the VAMC product there is a link that says secure messaging

Requirements Open Questions

WHAT are all of the functions and WHEN are we going to have to align work
one potential blocker with health records
will likely need to strip out code; this function is no longer case dependent

Update 7.16.2024 Team supported Indianapolis' implementation of online scheduling by enabling the online scheduling widget on Make An Appointment | VA Indiana Health Care and removing the location from the list of exceptions on Schedule And View VA Appointments Online.
