[CONSIDER] Facility Locator - native app experience #13926

Issue

Currently, within the mobile app, the facility locator redirects and opens the mobile version of VA.gov's facility locator.

Consider creating a Facility Locator in the native app to improve the search experience.

Metrics snapshot

Current active users on: mobile app = 1 million/mo. VA.gov = 1.6 million/mo.

Facility locator taps in mobile app (home, pre-login) in April 2024 = 98.1K (app analytics dashboard) Facility locator on VA.gov in March 2024, total users = 286,457 (analytics folder) desktop = 144,718 (50.52%) mobile= 136,926 (47.82%) tablet = 1.67%

Reopening as current guidance is for product teams to self-serve, potentially meaning Facilities team will design a native app experience for facility locator if this becomes a priority.
