Description

When The Facility Locator becomes aware of a new facility via Lighthouse, a detail page is automatically created. Once a VAMC or Vet Center page is published in Drupal, a redirect points visitors to the new page, rather than the default page. The default page is available via Facility Locator search results in the meanwhile (and longer term, for other facility types).

The page displays data from VAST (address, phone, and hours of operation) and may have service information, depending on the facility type. It includes this disclaimer:

This list may not include all of the services available at this location Please check on the facility’s website or call them for this information.

However, there is no link to the website mentioned or any support in helping Veterans find their way to further information.

Interestingly, this exact facility just came up in a CMS Help Desk request to remove.
