Consider: Reduce cardinality of Service Location on VAMC Facility Non-Clinical Service to 1

User Story or Problem Statement

On VAMC Facility Health Services, we limit editors to 3 Service Locations. There was no limit set for Non-Clinical Services which seems like an oversight. Based on a quick audit it doesn't seem like the cardinality needs to be more than 1.

Description or Additional Context

There are currently only 6 instances (out of 600) of VAMC Facility Non-Clinical Services that have more than 1 Service Location (full Drupal Report). With a quick review of the pages where these are showing up, it doesn't seem like any of them are intended use cases for multiple Service Location.

  • Second Service location repeats same phone number, has a different set of hours, but no extra context. Seems like a mistake.
• https://www.va.gov/cheyenne-health-care/billing-and-insurance/
  • Is the Eligibility Office actually a pay in person location? It's always closed and seems like the eligibility office actually deals with registering for care, not payment.

  • Second service location is just a repeat of the main phone number
• https://www.va.gov/beckley-health-care/medical-records-office/
  • Second Service location repeats same phone number, has a different set of hours, but no extra context. Seems like a mistake.
• https://www.va.gov/albany-health-care/register-for-care/
  • These should actually be separate Non-Clinical Services instead of 11 Service locations.
• The 6th instance doesn't show up on the front end because it's orphaned content that should be archived.

Steps for Implementation

• Work with VHA DM / editors to remove unnecessary Service Locations on these VAMC Facility Non-Clinical Services
  • Might want to use this as a learning opportunity for Albany, other instances might be that we make changes and notify the editors after the fact.
