[Epic] My VA - Health Care update to add new facilities to the Cerner alert #39141

Closed hdjustice closed 4 weeks ago

hdjustice commented 2 years ago

Background

In March 2022, we were notified by Lauren Alexanderson in the #health-care-products-all-teams channel that there will be many health care systems (that can contain multiple facilities) added to the Cerner facilities list.

This means that we need to ensure that any facility IDs (and variations) listed as Cerner facilities are added to our codebase for when we make a call to determine whether it is a Cerner facility or not.

If it is a Cerner facility, the Cerner alert will appear for the user to access another site for their health care management.
Copy and logic should be revisited before we get much further into adding facilities - Ticket #39030.

At this time, there are ~12 health care systems that are planned to onboard to Cerner in the next 12 months.

  • (757) Columbus: Go-live -- 4/30/2022
  • (692) White City/Roseburg: Go-live -- 6/11/2022 (Note: not clear to me whether these are separate or one health system)
  • (653) Roseburg: Go-live -- 6/11/2022
  • (531) Boise: Go-live -- 6/25/2022

As of 6/27/2022, all go-lives after Boise are postponed for the rest of 2022. We'll update the dates below when we have a better idea of how the schedule has changed. Deployment schedule

Added the deployment schedule to the original body of the ticket (also linked here), following the announcement that the last facility launch for 2022 will be Boise on July 23 (postponed from June 25).

Closing - this work was originally postponed and then later the process for adding Cerner facilities changed to be managed through a drupal integration.
