[User flows and navigating] A user flow doesn't provide content or navigation to help users understand where to go or what to do next. (03.02.1) #55862
A user flow doesn't provide content or navigation to help users understand where to go or what to do next.
Issue Details
The "pending" and "past" hanging links on the appointment list page disappear once a user navigates out to those pages. This causes user confusion around how to navigate back to where they were before. Also, no current state exists to help the user situate themselves within the different page options for appointments.
These links are established as a navigational pattern on the primary "your appointments" list page and need to be persistent across all pages in the product to provide consistent navigation. Add navigational links in this format from both the pending & past pages, but also include a current state (with preferred language for "upcoming appointments" included among the trio of hanging links) option across all pages to indicate to the user which page they are on within the experience. This navigational element will require design work (logged as separate issue here). Make sure to encode these hanging links as attached to the appointment list (currently, any alerts that appear on this page separate the hanging links from the rest of the list - see screenshot for example).
