The MHV national portal offers users a tool to create a printable health information card (i.e., the kind of thing that can be folded and put in a wallet). The health data printed on that card is supplied exclusively by the user. As of June 2023, OCC leadership has decided to hold off transitioning this tool to VA.gov in the near term.
Scope
Conduct in depth, multidisciplinary discovery on the feasibility and impact of implementing a similar tool as part of MHV on VA.gov. Included in discovery should be investigation of using VA-maintained health data from a patient's official medical record instead of user supplied data.
