Goals:

• The OCTO team has a fun experience that energizes them to continue working together successfully.
• The OCTO team bonds with new team members in person to improve our virtual communication, relationships, and culture.
• OCTO employees, especially those, that have not had an in-person experience since joining the team feel welcome and leave more connected to their coworkers.

Provide options for socializing and connection. People should be able to trust that if they choose one of these options, their colleagues will likely also be there.

Acceptance criteria:

Old City / Walkable to your Hotel

• Menagerie Coffee - Won't fit 60 people but good for quick coffee run. Some of the best lattes/cortados in the city.
• La Colombe - Massive cafe
• Zahav - This is an expensive restaurant but one of the best of the best, Israeli/Mediterranean food that's all shareable. If you can make a reservation ahead of time, I'm assuming they can accommodate 60 people. Imagine like, the best hummus of your life being here....
• Independence Beer Garden is the big "Corporate" beer garden that all the business groups in this area go to. It's nice and worth it if you want to stay local, but food is minimal.
• National Mechanics: Bar that is very big in a large historical building that can accommodate large groups

Northern Liberties: This is next door to Old City.

• Mostly just recommending North Bowl here because it's a massive bowling alley with food & beverages that can fit your party size.
• Yards Brewery: One of our most popular breweries in Philly.. The food is basically your average pretzel / sandwich though. If you are going to do the Fishtown recommendation below of Frankford Hall, I would avoid doing this brewery too as it would be overkill.

Fishtown:

• Fette Sau: Barbecue that is soooo good and in a cool setting that will accommodate your group. Very much "Tray BBQ Style" where you pick how much meat you want for your group/persons and then it's a la carte from there. Great whiskey cocktails too. After this, go next door to Frankford Hall for the Beer Garden
• Frankford Hall: Would definitely accommodate 60 people easily, and you can grab a cheesesteak next door for the folks who want it from some place that
• Pizzeria Beddia: Just some of the best pizza ever.. Reservations recommended for sure.

South Philly:

• Bok Bar for a Happy hour overlooking the entire city, on an old high school rooftop. This is a must-do for a big team from out of town. I would see if there's a way to make a reservation for a table depending on how many people you'll have.

Lunch / Fun Places / If you need Catering Ideas:

• Federal Donuts: They have multiple locations around the city and they basically make nothing but Fried Chicken Sandwiches and donuts
• Reading Terminal Market: The Amish Market that has 100's of vendors in an indoor farmers market. Near City Hall, it's a must visit for anyone who hasn't been. I highly recommend getting Dinic's Roast Pork Sandwich as a favorite. PHILLY LOCAL TIP: We don't go for the cheesesteaks, we go for the Roast Pork Sandwiches, and this is one of the best of the best.
• Liberty Kitchen (my friend’s place in Fishtown): They do catering for sandwiches and make a damn good sub/hoagie/sandwich.
