When I try to access the AWS Parameter Store, I get this err... #70620

When I try to access the AWS Parameter Store, I get this error: User: arn:aws-us-gov:iam::008577686731:user/Kyle.Henson is not authorized to perform: ssm:DescribeParameters on resource: arn:aws-us-gov:ssm:us-gov-west-1:008577686731:* because no identity-based policy allows the ssm:DescribeParameters action. Is there something additional I need to do on my end?
