I'll add more steps to this ticket after a few things happen:
Danielle is going to chat more with Matt Dingee about the intro page pattern for applications that aren't supporting forms. I'll provide feedback to the intro page content, if needed, after she chats with Matt.
Re: the "Have you applied for VA health care before?" alert - Danielle shared that there was previously a need for this alert due to there being some folks who were applying for healthcare care again. Before we decide whether to remove this or not, I asked Jessica would it be possible for their team to look at whether there are folks who are submitting a health care application more than once and whether there is any data that points to this alert still being necessary here?
Updates:
This work is still on pause while their team is still working on the EZR.
We'll circle back to this.
And I'll ping Heather early next week to ask her to folow on the SME thread about the percentage of duplicates - this will determine whether we'll need to remove the "Have you applied before?" alert.
Update here:
Their team heard back about the alert and SMEs don't have access to any data re: duplicates. SMEs would like to keep the alert
I sent a message to Danielle about this last week and will follow up with her in our Monday sync.
My last communication with their team was on 1/19. And I sent a message to Danielle on 1/19.
@strelichl We can close out this ticket! This phase of the intro page work is done.
There are some other intro page changes we'll make in alignment with the new toxic exposure questions, but those changes are part of the toxic exposure work.
