Medallia feedback analysis for MHV landing page (S28)

User story

As a Cartographers team member, I want to analyze recent qualitative survey responses in a way that preserves the time frame of insights, so that we can learn from them.

Notes

The findings file in github is reaching the limit of its scalability. (Tables are getting quite wide.) It is also hard to tell which insights are from more recent feedback, versus older.

  • Go to the issue template list and select "Qualitative data request"
  • Fill out the form. Here's an example
• Where to store analysis:
  • Spreadsheet in the team Sharepoint
  • Findings in Github alongside earlier analysis

Tasks

• Request Medallia data for timeframe since previous analysis (see github)
• Add new data to spreadsheet in the team sharepoint as a new tab
• Add in data analysis for new timeframe to GH page
• Add structure to page to make it easier to see timing of insights
• Call out "things to watch for" (e.g., red dot complaints)

Acceptance criteria

• Saved lightweight analysis of both quant and qual survey responses in Github
• Documented insights in a format that is clear about when the insights were synthesized
• Documented any insights in this ticket or new ticket(s) if appropriate

Finished up medallia work for this sprint. I added a new table for us to capture problems, related quotes, and make notes. If we want to keep doing this work moving forward, we should do the work of looking at past data and re-formatting so it fits in that same table (to keep everything consistent, easy and clear). @wesrowe I'll let you decide, considering that we have some different dashboards in the works and I'm not sure how long we'll keep doing this type of task.

The new format looks good for going forward. I'm thinking we don't need to go back and reformat past analyses. We can revisit as things arise.
