Hey @FranECross , we are thinking of publishing our new URLs on monday 6/17, and then asking for these redirects to go live on Tuesday 6/18 -- would that work for you all? And what time does the deploy go out?

@jilladams will you please fact-check me? This is changing the existing URL, not publishing a new page that will then be redirecting to a new page.

Timing: Redirects deploy at 10A ET Mon-Thurs. If we merge our PR, it will be live on the next deployment, on that schedule.

With your 6/18 Tuesday target of the redirect going live:

One note: Publishing before 10am also requires a content release to complete before the page will be live. If the content release doesn't complete before the redirect goes live, there might be a brief 404 til the content release is done. Meaning: it might be safer to publish the page the night before the redirect deploys, in case of any content release drama.

Could we deploy the redirect on Tuesday 6/18? It doesn't actually have to go live on any specific day -- the previous week our copyeditor is out, and Wed 6/19 is Juneteenth holiday so we were just trying to squeeze it in when folks would be here. But open to a more convenient schedule for ya'll.

Heads up! We've decided to push this launch out a week due to some last minute additions to the subhub pages (but no changes to the URLs above). I updated the ticket with the new timeline today -- pls review and let us know if anything looks wrong!

HI folks, we discussed with @mmiddaugh this morning, and we'd like to handle the left sidenav and section questions separately via a Public Websites intake request. That's new work for our team, and folks on our current contract have never handled adding a new Section (on PW) or left nav (across both PW and Facilities), so we'll need a little time to ramp up and learn/remember how it all works, in order to do that work for you.

@kristinoletmuskat @d-beyer for awareness: Hubs on the homepage are created via a separate Drupal menu: https://prod.cms.va.gov/admin/structure/menu/manage/home-page-hub-list. When you are ready, the Family hub rename and link will need to happen within that menu to cut over and point to the new one. I believe y'all have permissions to do that.

Hi @jilladams , since the pages are all live and the breadcrumbs are working, we think we can go ahead with the redirects and then continue finding a fix for the left nav. Let us know if you all have concerns with that! We're going to request a tugboat environment so we can experiment safely to figure out the left nav issue.
