Thoughts/questions
I love this idea. It seems like you have thought about a lot of things. Consider how conditional logic may play a role in editing by page rather than editing by chapter.
I like the idea of showing a screen when a user changes their answer and may have extra questions answered vs showing errors on each page that was added.
