Update content in Post-9/11 GI Bill verify enrollment widget #86091

Open RLHecht opened 2 months ago

RLHecht commented 2 months ago

Issue Description

With the new enrollment verification tool replacing WAVE for MGIB benefits, we will soon have 2 widgets on the Verify your school enrollment page. We need to update the content in the Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits sign-in widget so it's clear what benefits are being used.

New content:

H3: Sign in to verify your enrollment for Post-9/11 GI Bill benefits

Sign in with your existing ID.me or Login.gov account. If you don’t have either of these accounts, you can create a free ID.me account or Login.gov account now.

[Button] Sign in or create an account

This change should be made in an upcoming sprint as the MGIB widget will be going live soon.

@rlyons89 Can this work be prioritized now that the second sign-in widget is on the page that's specific to MGIB? Also, would you please fix the size of the widget header under the Post-9/11 H2? The size should match the header for MGIB. See above for wording changes for the Post-9/11 widget.

@bethpottsVADEPO @RLHecht , We attempted to make the changes in this pull request merged last week. However, we were unable to validate the header's sizing as we found the widget, inaccessible after attempting to test the changes locally after pulling the content build to test the changes to the static page and then after deploying as well. What should the next steps be in validating this change?

RLHecht commented 4 weeks ago

@bradbergeron-us I am not sure the best way to validate this but @jsimonVA worked on a similar widget for us that's lower down on the same page recently and may be able to help?

Also, besides the updated content in the header, we wanted content changed in the body content of this widget (we changed "any of" to "either of"). It should read:

Sign in with your existing ID.me or Login.gov account. If you don’t have either of these accounts, you can create a free ID.me account or Login.gov account now.

[Button] Sign in or create an account

Thank you!
