I've briefly looked over the Sharepoint. Am I understanding this correctly?
- the new 0781 eliminates the need for the 0781a
- I see the copy that says the 0781a PDF is no longer available, but the online form is still available and VA will review it if someone fills it out and submits it. Is that correct?

A new paper version of VA form 21-0781 is being rolled out on 6/28/2024 that combines the old 0781 and 0781a forms and changes the name of the form. For the rollout, some unauthenticated content needs updating beyond the basic PDF changeout and name change.
Based on initial analysis, we need the following updates:
In addition, we need to implement a redirect on the form detail page for the 21-0781a to send visitors to the 21-0781 form detail page. This is being requested in a separate ticket

Note: We work on nearly every OCTO product and manage all unauthenticated content on VA.gov, so we will need to prioritize intake requests based on overall workload and VA and OCTO priorities.

The form is currently scheduled to be released on 6/28/2024. This step of updating the form has slipped through the cracks, so to speak. Please check with Shannon Ford if we need to shuffle Benefits Portfolio work to accommodate.
