Problem Statement

The MHV Team is considering setting up all of their tracking in GA4. Due to the size of MHV, we need to determine what the impact of this will be, what the expectations are around timing, and level of effort,

Cost implications?
How many events?
PHI Considerations
Does this make sense to track within our GA4 properties, or somewhere else?
What is required of each team, and expectations of each?

Hypothesis or Bet

We will know we're done when... ("Definition of Done")

Projected Launch Date

Need to schedule time with PO and Robyn Singleton to help understand the requirements here.

@johnny-jesensky-adhoc Re: Migration of the My HealtheVet GA4 instance from GSA DAP onto Va.gov Platform GA4. Can we schedule an initial discussion with Robyn Singleton, Research Lead regarding feasibility, LOE, and timelines for the high-level initial requirements? I assume we can ask more questions and share some thoughts given the high-level initial requirements: 1. Page views for auth products (SM, Rx, medical records, appts which is appt list only), as well as clicks/ navigation paths/ etc. that can be helpful for design decisions. 2. The volume of events MHV captured: 2,000,000,000 in the past 12 months.

@raywangoctova -- Yes, I will look to try to schedule that call with Robyn for next week. Also as we discussed in last week's check-in, I also set up some time with Jamie Stutt, who is our team's Google Analytics SME, and the one who will have the most insight on implications on this before we connect with Robyn.

@johnny-jesensky-adhoc Just to get everyone on the same page, GSA DAP is the cross agency GA tracking program. We're not transitioning anything in relation to that.

Also, you need them to define what they mean by MHV. I have a feeling that it's myhealth.va.gov + eauth.va.gov (and a few other subdomains) which are all are legacy sites.

I've started to group all of the outstanding MHV Analytics requests in our backlog, so we may better understand some of their requirements.
