Feature request - type "/" to search #88002

Description

This is very low priority but would be a nice quality of life enhancement for the platform website. On Github, I'm used to typing / to search. It would be super to be able to do that on the platform website to focus in the search bar. At a glance it seems like it might be possible: https://help.k15t.com/scroll-viewport/inject-custom-javascript

If this is something the team is willing to consider, I'd be happy to work together on it.

@acrollet thank you for suggesting this, we are interested in optimizing search capabilities on Platform Website, and this has been a challenge. Can you explain what the expected behavior would be when using / in the search bar?

You can see it on this page - just press the / key and you will be scrolled to the top, with focus placed in the search bar so that you can then type a query.
