Track Socks / Jumphost AL2 Adoption Statistics

Gather daily statistics representing the adoption and migration from the legacy SOCKS and Jumpbox to AL2 based instances.

• [x] Write scripts to gather unique users of socks and jumpbox based on SSHD logs
• [x] Identify Unique users as email addresses for future notifications
• [x] Gather report stats daily

Acceptance Criteria

• [x] Scenario: Daily adoption statistics gathering

  • Given the scripts are in place to gather unique users of socks and jumpbox based on SSHD logs
  • When the script runs daily
  • Then a report should be generated containing the number of unique users for each instance

• [x] Scenario: Identify unique users as email addresses

  • Given the scripts are in place to identify unique users from their email addresses
  • When the script runs daily
  • Then a list of unique user emails should be generated and stored for future notifications

• [x] Scenario: Report stats daily

  • Given the report generation script is in place
  • When the script runs daily
  • Then a new report containing the adoption statistics for each instance should be generated and stored
