Pension ITF: Update pages with auto ITF

Description

When the online pension form is updated to trigger an automatic intent to file, we'll need to update these pages:

• Your intent to file a VA claim

• How to apply for a VA pension as a Veteran: Update the "Should I submit an intent to file form?" section to include this note from the How to file a VA disability claim page:

  Note: If you file for disability compensation online, then you don’t need to notify us of your intent to file. This is because your effective date gets set automatically when you start filling out the form online—before you submit it.

This work is related to this intake ticket.

I want to confirm my understanding of this content:

When you start your disability or pension application or Supplemental Claim online, it notifies us automatically of your intent to file

I think we're saying that these actions notify us of your ITF:

• Starting a disability application
• Starting a pension application
• Starting a Supplemental Claim related to disability compensation
• Starting a Supplemental Claim related to pension benefits

Is that correct? If so, I wonder how we can clarify that both applications and Supplement Claims related to both benefits trigger an ITF.

My understanding is that you can only start a Supplemental Claim online if it's related to disability compensation. On this page, we say: "At this time, a disability compensation claim is the only type of claim you can use our online Supplemental Claim form for."

Automatic ITF for pension forms doesn't change any feature of Supplemental Claims for now.

For now, we have:
