Our team has been asked to review some orientation information at the request of the Platform Governance Team. Details on the specific asks below.

Ask

Hi everyone! Governance needs your help validating that Platform Orientation materials are still up to date and accurate. This helps ensure that VFS teams are learning our current processes, are being directed to the right guidance on Platform Website, and hopefully we'll receive less support requests meaning more time to prioritize other important work.

We are asking ALL Platform teams to take time this upcoming sprint to review the New VFS Team Member template and the New VFS Team template. We don't expect you to review everything, but for any content relevant to your teams work, please:

1. Verify all links/references are accurate
2. Verify that there are no gaps in what new teams and team members need to know.
3. Make recommendations and/or suggestions for improvement and share with Governance team, if applicable.

Platform Support team, Platform Content team, Design System team, Analytics & Insights team, Backend COP and Frontend COP are also being asked to verify the orientation videos that they have previously recorded are still accurate. Governance has created this feedback template to make it easy and convenient for your team to notify us of any outdated materials.

Depending on the finding, it may be our responsibility to fix it or it may be your teams. All videos are the responsibility of the team, not Governance. We are asking all teams, and relevant COPs, to complete the above feedback template by end of next sprint - Tuesday, July 30. Please let us know if you have any questions! Thanks.

• Need to validate that the Opt out of Google Analytics link is still the preferred way to get folks to opt out in GA4.

Orientation Video

• Will need to rerecord, as some content is outdated, including
• Team roster
• Updated docs shared on Google Analytics 4
• Ticket for re-recording: #88850

Will look to consolidate this in the feedback template once finalized.
