• Ask VA - AVA Product

  • AVA is a submitter (veteran, business user, family member, or someone submitting on behalf of the veteran) facing portal, where a submitter can launch an inquiry (key question) around a variety of topics/ categories and subcategories.
  • The question is then directed to a CRM Queue, where it is answered/ responded to.
  • Submitters can follow up on the status of the inquiry via their dashboard.

• Context:

  • AVA is currently hosted on https://ask.va.gov/, an non VA.GOV site, in Jan '25 - we will be launching AVA on a VA.gov URL.
  • All metrics are currently being tracked in Azure.
  • AVA is primarily a form based product, where submitters are led through a series of questions based on their category, topic, and subtopic. Submitters can also see their responses on their dashboard page.

• When is the launch date?

  • Jan 13th tentatively, we are confirming dates right now.
