Memorial self-service: Draft pages for VA Form 40-1330M

Description

We need to create and update these pages for VA Form 40-1330M:

• About VA Form 40-1330M: We need to add a "when to use" section and the entry point to the online tool.
• New benefit detail page: This page should focus exclusively on applying for a medallion. Since there's a lot of eligibility information, we may need to deviate from our pattern of showing all eligibility information in the featured content box. Here are some examples of we've deviated from our pattern:
  • Agent Orange exposure and disability compensation
  • Survivors’ and Dependents’ Educational Assistance

And we need to create a new benefit detail pages for each of these memorial items:

• Plaques and urns
  • Reference Beth and Randi’s draft page for plaques and urns (Drupal)
• Headstones and markers

Note: Ideally, we'd design one eligibility pattern that can be reused on the new medallion page, the updated headstones / marker page, and Beth and Randi's new plaques / urns page.

This also means we need to archive the Veterans headstones, markers, medallions, plaques, and urns page once we create new pages for each memorial item.

Plus, we need to update the body copy on these pages linking to the Veterans headstones, markers, medallions, plaques, and urns page:

• Burial in a private cemetery
• Honor a Veteran or Reservist with memorial items
• Military funeral honors and the committal service
• Schedule a burial
• Inscription accuracy
• Burial at sea

Update: I created the new Veterans medallions page in Drupal: https://prod.cms.va.gov/veterans-medallions

Next steps: We need to draft these pages in Drupal, following the pattern of the Veterans medallions page:

• Veterans plagues and urns (draft page: https://prod.cms.va.gov/veterans-plaques-and-urns)
• Veterans headstones and markers (note: we can make a new node in Drupal, since we need to redirect the URL anyway)

The most up-to-date content for memorial item pages is in Drupal:

It's likely that we won't be able to publish these pages at the same time as the product team launches online VA Form 40-1330M. Beth is thinking through a strategy for how and when we launch this work with NCA (the memorial items business line). We should follow up with her to determine our next steps.

As a result of the delay in publishing these pages, we need to draft an update to the current memorial items page that includes the entry point to the product team's online VA Form 40-1330M.
