How to configure this issue

From Vicki: Tom Black Samara (She/Her) Hi, Veteran is not having a log in issue, but wants to know why a driver’s license is required for My HealtheVet and not the other Login.gov accounts they currently have.

From Me:@Samara (She/Her) and/or Tom Black if you have verbiage on login process or security for login, please send it to me and I will get that to the Veteran. Passing this issue off to ID.me, Login.gov, or MHV would not be beneficial in my opinion. Thoughts?

From Tom Black: Looking at the email in the attachments folder, the person is uncomfortable uploading a driver’s license to do identity verification. We could recommend visiting a post office to do verification, Login.gov’s instructions here: https://www.login.gov/help/verify-your-identity/verify-your-identity-in-person/

Generally, a government-issued ID is required for identity verification. Here’s VA.gov’s page on verification.
