Please describe your use case.: We will be sending an email to claimants letting them know that their claim failed to submit through VA.gov and they need to take some type of action to resubmit their claim.
What actions can the user take based on the notification they receive? The claimant will be instructed to call the VA, resubmit on VA.gov, or mail in their claim depending on the type of issue and the remediation steps that we've identified with our SMEs and OCTO enablement team.
What is the desired business outcome? There are no silent submission failures on VA.gov.
What system will kick off the notification? Please note the system should be inside the VA or have an ATO. VA.gov
What will trigger the notification? A failed claim status immediately after submission (between VA.gov and LightHouse) or a failed claim status after the claim has been submitted to the LightHouse API.
