Discovery: Understand bypassed validation

Issue Description

As a Product Manager, I want to track when Veterans attempt to submit disability claims with missing required fields So that we can understand how validation is being bypassed and prevent failed submissions

Tasks

Acceptance Criteria

• Log validation bypass attempts:

  • Timestamp of attempt
  • Which required fields were missing
  • Point in submission flow where validation was bypassed
  • Technical context (browser/device info)

• Datadog dashboard showing:

  • Count and types of validation bypasses
  • Trends of bypass attempts over time
  • Percentage of submissions with missing required fields
  • Technical patterns in bypass attempts

• Ensure logging excludes PII/sensitive data:

  • Filter out personal identifiers
  • Log only validation-relevant data
  • Follow VA security requirements

1. get http responses “something wrong with your data” so we can’t do what you need us to do figure out which error responses are missing

2. things that are not obvious like missing contentions - this is more known and need this mapping

we have an issue where we can't see the error responses needed to see the actual errors.
