TOPIC: Nick, DDS team is working on our portion of the HackASat.com challenge for DEFCON Safemode. We’d like to get your take on what we are putting together to bring space down to earth and make it fun and interesting to explore from a security perspective. We are also working on aviation themed virtual spaces and want to create a virtual reality platform for this effort. Would love your input.

DDS: Nick is a Hacker friend of RORO's who now works on creating really fun and interactive escape rooms. It’s hard to impress upon you how cool these escapes rooms are but suffice to say he & his team know how to design for fun!

Hi Clair,

My apologies for not sending this sooner. We actually spent the last two days trying to create a prototype of a virtualized multi user space that integrates twitch streams in order to get an idea of how big the challenge is.

Sadly, while we were able to prove its possible, we wouldn't be able to get a working / stable version anywhere near in time for August. It would probably take a minimum of 6 months to get something off the ground assuming I put my entire team on it. Essentially it's like building an MMO and requires a ton more work to stabilize for anything more than a handful of users.

We do have a couple of other interesting ideas that we could do, but I was hoping to maybe get a better idea of the modules you guys have built and planned for the event. Is there any additional information you all are comfortable sharing with me about the detailed plans of what you guys were planning on doing? For example:

1) What are the modules that were built and how were the guests intended to interact with them in the Village? 2) What is the current plan of guest interaction with the twitch stream? 3) How many different modules do you have planned for this event?

Decided to go with SES because we need a rich environment to complete this project.
