VALID--design review requested for minimize/maximize sections. Recommend talking to HQ PPA POC (RP) separately--not sure why the estimator results would need to be mailed to finance offices.
Seems like a good idea to have PPM Estimator deliver a print-friendly output if this is being used in JPPSOs and PPPOs. Maybe @jamesatheyDDS can take a look before we hand this off to the contractor...this could satisfy the immediate need for a PPM cost estimation web service...while we get that together.
Concur.
@Elliottdotgov I doubt a print-friendly view would satisfy the need for a cost estimator web service. That said, a printer-friendly PPM estimator output would still have value. I'll make a separate issue for that.
As of 24MAY2018: Transferred to Pivotal
Tools and Resources - Weight estimator - HQ PPA submitted with comment "This new estimator has been greatly improved with modern and updated household items. We direct our members to use the weight estimator when weight tickets are not provided for PPMs and of course, to obtain an estimate of their weight for GBL moves. PPMs without weight tickets are actual cost reimbursements and all receipts along with the weight estimator are required for submission to finance.
Checklist
I have…
Expected Behavior - Add a button to print or that Condense down the printout in still a readable font, should not need to be 19 page printout
Summarize expected behavior.
Observed Behavior - See Attached - Submitters comment - The print out (right click, print file) was 19
pages of wasted space and paper and that is a large amount of paper to send to finance. At this time, there is no print function through the move.mil website or through DPS. We would like to suggest adding a print function. The print out should be a condensed version and tailored to include a name field. This would aid in keeping all the paperwork together
Summarize observed behavior.
