Map content is not rendered on Garmin Etrex 30 and does not show up in Basecamp

I have downloaded and extracted the maps for Belgium and the Alps to the SD card of my Garmin Etrex 30.

When I navigate on my GPS device to Setup --> Map --> Select Map I can see both maps and they are enabled. However, when I use the maps the content is not rendered on screen. Only the separate contour maps are shown.

When I connect the device to my machine, the Alps and Belgium maps do not show up in Basecamp.

Maps used:

• otm-Belgium (2021-09-16) --> does not render
• otm-Belgium (2021-07-29) --> did not render, I removed this map
• otm-Alps (2021-07-29) --> does not render
• Older map of The Netherlands --> does render

Device used:

• Garmin Etrex 30 with firmware 4.90
• Sandisk 16GB SD card formatted as FAT32

Software used:

• Windows 10 Home 21H1 machine
• Basecamp 4.7.4

I have attempted to install the maps by copying them directly to the micro SD card as well as by using the USB cable.

Closing this issue again. Although I did try two separate SD cards the problem seems to have been resolved by performing a long format on the card and copying the maps again (version 2021-09-24)
