My router is an ASUS RT-N56U
My router is running RT-N56U_3.4.3.6-068_full

Windows 7 64bit and my browser is an Chrome Version 29.0.1547.76 m.

My Network Traffic - Daily stats had worked before for me - but now they dont
show on my router anymore! They disappeared like 3 or 4 router updates ago
What can i do to fix this?

I have uploaded an screenshoot of my router.

Please check:
1) process "rstats" in the list (ps command)
2) free space on /var (df -h command)

I think I am having the same problem on firmware version 085 and 081 (dlna
build) for the rt-n56u. The daily page shows 0 KB/MB/Gb all the time.

Do you perform any commands like /sbin/reboot by cron or other ways?...

No.

Incidentally, I want to mention that the latest Asus stock firmware seems to
have the same problem (but a previous version 3.0.0.4.374_5656 works fine).

can you check the file exists and its size
du -sh /etc/storage/rstats-history

and one more value
tar -c -C /etc/storage . | bzip2 -9 -c | wc -c

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Yes, but unfortunately, I put on the 5656 stock firmware due to this problem
and won't have time to put on the Pad 085 firmware until this weekend. I will
definitely report back after I do so, though.

2 romulo.delmendo:
Stock asus firmware and this one have different methods of saving traffic
statistics.
As far as /etc/storage/rstats-history exists, and compressed storage size less
than 64K - the device should show traffic stats, does it?

Original comment by d...@soulblader.com on 9 Dec 2014 at 9:07

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
It does, but under daily page, all 0 GB/MB/KB

browser cache (reload this webpage with Shift pressed)

Does your daily stats show something other than 0?

Original comment by romulo.d...@gmail.com on 11 Dec 2014 at 9:11

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
Now, it is not. I've updated the firmware several minutes ago. But before the
update it showed statistics for today and yesterday. The option of traffic save
is not activated in ui! My ISP does it for me very well.

So it is fixed in the updated nightly firmware?

Not sure, sorry. Can't check if it is saved now, busy...

Are the daily totals updated continuously or just once a day? If updated
only daily, it would make sense the totals show 0 on the first day.
