Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.I have two ASUS routers each with a harddisk
2.In case I would like to download and store on the other router disk what
address should I use in "transmission" to make this happen?
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
store automatically on the other disk

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
version: 0.6 Beta (20130913) Transmission and 3.0.3.9-091 RT-N56U

Please describe the problem as detailed as it's possible.
If you have connection problem, then syslog file is required. (please do
attach it as a file)
Note that if there will be a poor problem description the issue status will
be changed to 'Invalid'!

transmission itself can't write to network storage. So, first you need to mount
the other disk (NFS, CIFS, or smth else) and change Downloads path to new one
in config.
It is in theory. But practically it is not recommended to write to remote
partitions. You will find many problems doing so.
