During in-liquid imaging, if there are nanoparticles in the solution, sometimes a particle will float by near the surface and be detected as a string of dimmer particles. We don't currently have a way to filter those out.
This is addressed with particle tracking. The functionality is there, and validated, but not properly documented for end users yet.
