select entities - show error as popup #532

when teh user clicks the "show geometric entities" button, it can be a bit confusing when it results in an error

intead of showing teh error in the console, can we popup a msg in the 3d viewer, giving a warning msg (not an error) when the geometric entity that the user is trying to select is not found

This type of popup The msg could be "Trying to select geometric entities, but no entity was found"
