Hi John - a great initial test of the quasar/AGN identification of Fastspecfit would be to fit all of the sources that have been visually inspected; that is the quasar, ELG, LRG, and BGS sub surveys. The VI data is a good first dataset for this exercise as we have data-quality flags for each VI'd target in addition to the VI spectral classification. The quasar VI may be the best starting point of all of these sub surveys because we have also used the afterburners and quantified the presence of quasars from the VI. The VI truth tables can be accessed through NERSC but feel free to drop me a line about accessing them or anything else on this interesting project. I am very keen to see what you find! Thanks, Dave
