A feature that exists in specex/HARP extraction is the possibility to use a PSF convolved with a boxcar which width is a function of the wavelength extraction step. This allows flux conservation which is not the case with the current extraction. It's however a tiny scaling offset of of 5e-5 for an extraction step of 1A at 4000A in b-channel, so this is admitted a low priority.
