I'm opening a PR on this branch so we don't forget about it. @forero, @reac2, @biprateep, @dmargala, are there tasks remaining to be done on this branch before merging?

In general, we need to pick up the thread of documentation tasks after the holiday break.

I think we can merge this branch and start a new one in preparation for the EDR.
