Plan:

  1. Define performance metrics: some desired characterstics
  2. Define test cases: some typical uses of the app
  3. Build a prototype for the most straightforward tech stack
  4. Implement the test cases
  5. Test each for the performance metrics
  6. If performance metrics are not met, find problem and adapt the tech stack accordingly
