Colt McAnlis actually advices to make the loading screen a little game itself. Like try chasing the little zombie cat, or even answering some little questions or riddles. If nothing happens after 5 seconds most people just close the tab.

We could use preloadjs for this.

Sounds reasonable. Labyrinth? Or Something completely unrelated to the game? FPS?
