Following are some of the annotations used by "spring-projects/spring-boot". ideal-for-contribution first-timers-only

there are already tags for beginner easy pick and good first issue at some point we have to decide whether standardization is better or accessibility to more labels

Maybe have one single option in the UI, which searches for issues using any of the labels in GitHub repos?

ie a mapping:

beginner:[beginner, easy pick, ideal-for-contribution, ...]
good first issue: [good first issue, first-timers-only, ...]

That way potential contributors that use issuehub.io don't need to know (or care) that different projects use different labels

@gundalow You can raise a separate issue for the same, there is a pull request against this issue hence closing this issue.

@gundalow I think that the nature of issuehub.io is to bring new developers into familiarity with how to contribute in the github community. One part of that is understanding issue labels and how they are used explicitly by a project.
