Fix tests #81

The underlying structure of Pippin has gone through a few iterations and the tests have not kept up. We need to update the tests to ensure they're working.

Another wrench in this is that travis-ci won't work now that pippin is in an organisation. We'll need to migrate over to github actions to get automatic testing for pushes and pull requests
