Test Drive Le-Mans problems #124

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?

1: *Play Test Drive Le Mans (NTSC version)*
2: *In NullDC 1.0.4 R22 with Dynarec enabled the game won't run*
3: *With Dynarec disabled the game will run very slowly*

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output is: to have a proper and stable fps count*

But instead I see: *low fps or the game won't pass the start screen*

What version of the product are you using? What build? What plugins?

I use version: *NullDC 1.0.4 R22*

I use the following plugins:

PowerVR Plugin: *Null dc power vr (13 may 2010)*
GDRom Plugin: *image reader plugin by drk*
AICA Plugin: *null dc aica*
ARM7 Plugin: *vba arm sound cpu core*
Maple Plugin(s): *null dc winhook controller*

On what kind of system?

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: *XP PRO SP2*
CPU: *Intel Core 2 Duo 1.66ghz*
Video Card: *Geforce Go7300 256mb*
Sound Card: *Realtek*
1gb ram

Come on man, read before you post. Look at issue #60

also download r44, because r22 is old!

Tried it with the latest r45.

Runs at about 10fps even though fraps shows 60fps.

CPU: PII x3 720BE @3.3Ghz
GPU: GTX260.

You're doing it wrong.

Wrong? I did disable Dynarec during the opening video, then it got choppy. I
could go into a race, just that fps is really low, but fraps reported 60fps.
What else should i configure?

No Dynarec means no speed. It's normal.

Disable dynarec to get past the menus, once you start racing, you can re-enable
dynarec

'Disable dynarec to get past the menus, once you start racing, you can
re-enable dynarec'

Great! It worked. I left Dynarec disable thro-out the game becos issue 60
commented to leave it disabled! Audio on the other hand totally screwed-up, it
went into a infinite loop of some garbage audio. Restarting the race will clear
the loop but there's totally no sound effects during race.
