Try pressing some buttons at the start to quicken the boot logo and such.
I've been using Sonic Adventure to test stuff, and it crashes if I don't do
that.

1.03
into my
1.04 folder

Memory card files are created the the VMU is formatted... ¬_¬
And that has nothing to do with the crash. =_="

same problem here, crashes as soon as i launch image, gives this 'Don't send'
windows dialog and i still hear bios launching sound in background. i use win
xp.

This IS a DirectX issue. It could be something else with some very limited
hardware (and I think raz fixed that some time ago), but looking at the
opener's specs this is not the case here.
So next time, update DirectX 9.0c (NOT DirectX 10 or 11) to the most recent
version before reporting issues.
