What steps will reproduce the problem?

1: Load default VMU plugin (nulldc VMU for Logitec G-15 Keyboard)
2: Ensure Maple Subdevice 1 is enabled
3: Start Game

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

The expected output: Games ran on nullDC 1.04 r22 (Sonic 2, Expendable,
San Francisco Rush, etc.)do not recognize that I have a VMU or memory card
inserted... even though I see the VMU window on my desktop

But instead I see: "No VMU Inserted" or similar messages. (in version
1.03 of nulldc, the games recognized the VMU just fine)

What version of the product are you using? What build? What plugins?

I use version: Nulldc 1.04 R22

I use the following plugins:

PowerVR Plugin: null PowerVR - it doesn't let me use any other plugin here
GDRom Plugin: Image Reader Plugin by drk
AICA Plugin: nullDC AICA
ARM7 Plugin: VBA ARM Sound Cpu Core
Maple Plugin(s): [XInput] xMaple_Win32
Ext.Device Plugin: nullExtDev

On what kind of system?

My system specifications are as follows:

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
CPU: Intel i-7 860
Video Card: ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series
Sound Card: Same as above
Additional related hardware and/or software: Xbox 360 Controller

Is the memory card formatted? If not, or if you're unsure then enter the BIOS
and
delete all the data from the VMU.

Thanks Psyman..

Turns out that vmu_data_port.bin files were missing from the the nulldc.rar
that I
downloaded from the site.

To solve this, I just copied the vmu_data_port.bin file from nulldc 1.03 into
my
1.04 folder and now it works fine.

After this step, I THEN I formatted my VMU Card.

Again thanks for your help and quick response!

Happened to me to until I realized the problem too. These 2 "MU" files should
be
included in the package to prevent future encounters of this issue.

the vmu files are supposed to be generated on first use..... under normal
circumstances.

If there are no files, the files are created when the VMU is formatted.

I think this can be closed ? I'l try to add a pre-formated memory card next
time, but
its not a problem really ...
