Use it as a spectrum analyzer and notify the organizers if there are and issues or people are overlapping. Even better, if a spectrum analyser with some sort of external port is available ( USB ), plug that into the raspberry pi and use it.
If a frequency become congested while a user is flying, switch the frequency of that flyer dynamically to a new one. Would require that pilot's goggles be plugged into our receiver or be using a dynamic switcher like the LaForge module. Would be best if it wasn't switched based on IR. Maybe another esp8266 unit?
Onboard receiver used to scan available channels and map out best frequency space for new racers to switch. Automated switching to available spaces could also be a feature for users with a compatible racing transponder/VTX combo device. ( in the plan )
