Install instruction on Nextcloud 21 #2

Hi, i was trying to install this on my nextcloud server and after placing the files in apps/calendar/ but after that nexcloud erased it all and replaced the files, sending me an error about not being able to approving the files. second i tried to replce the calendar.js file in the js folder and the whole thing broke down. so is this version compatible with nextcloud 21? and if so how am i suppose to install it?

hello there, it is compatible with nextcloud 19. because calendar app updates regularly and it's older versions such as this one are not made as forward compatible apps with further versions of nextcloud, there is no need for this feature as it is obvious why. so for solving your issue: you can use the whole compatible package ( nextcloud 19 project with persian calendar ) instead.

Thank you for your fast reply. I was wondering will other apps work in this version? apps like Deck that arent translated and dont have RTL support? My main question is if i switch to this version will i be able to use other apps that i need and is there a guide about how to translate them or possibly RTLize them?

ywc, all the apps that are compatible with nextcloud 19 can and will be able to install on the rtl-ised version, alghough it will not going to presented currectly, due to the fact that the parent view is RTL, in order to change the language and change the style to be RTL, you need to know how to work with L10N interface, css and sass styles, html and JavaScript (typescript or vuJs depends on the app you going to work on) and minor knowledge of php with npm and webpack.
